This edition of the newsletter is a little bit different. Instead of my usual 1-5 books on a theme, I’m here to help you pick the perfect gift for the bookworm in your life. Don’t panic, there’s still plenty of time.

Obviously, there’s books — and you can find lots of recommendations for everyone in your life on my Bookshop.org lists (UK/US). But there’s a lot more, too.

Audiobooks

With Libro.fm, you can give audiobooks. Your recipient chooses what they’d like to read with their ears, and your gift supports an independent bookshop, too. Credit bundles are available in various permutations from 2 to 24 audiobooks.

Bookmarks

Save them from the fate of shoving random bits of paper in their books to mark a page. This fun bookmark is from Etsy, where you can find all kinds of gifts for readers.

Games

Gift Cards

For many readers, half the pleasure is in choosing the book. With gift cards, you can give them that pleasure too — and when it’s from Bookshop.org, it supports local bookshops, whether in the UK or the US. Because tea or coffee should never be far away when you’re reading.
